Third Annual Harper Jazz Fest Concert

Cost: (Concert) $7 Harper students, faculty/staff, seniors; $8 Other students; $10 General Admission; FREE Children 12 and under
Harper's Third Annual Jazz Festival will feature an evening concert performance by Harper's talented jazz faculty, including well known Chicago jazz pianist, Ken Spurr.

Under Spurr's direction, the festival is an invitational for High School big bands, ensembles and combos to participate in a day of jazz, offering students an exciting, non-competitive opportunity to perform for, listen to and work with some of Chicago's top jazz performers and educators.

Adjudicators/Clinicians:
Tom Matta, DePaul University (trombone)
Scott Mason, Roosevelt University (bass)

Harper Jazz Faculty Clinicians:
James Davis (trumpet)
Darren Scorza (drums)
Ian Robinson (saxophone)
Jeff Hedberg (vocals)

Each group will:
* participate in two (back-to-back) 25-minute clinics
* work with two clinicians during each clinic
* receive written evaluations from clinicians
